We are upsetting the weather
Since about 1850, average world temperatures have risen by 0.7 degrees.
This has produced freaky weather
- Downpours and floods
- Heatwaves and droughts
- High winds
- more powerful hurricanes
- in places that never had them - the South Atlantic, Australia
We humans have done this! - by burning coal, petrol, gas and aviation fuel.
We also use too much electricity - most of which is generated using one of these fuels.
What will happen if we go on?
We must stop!
We must also stop developing countries doing what we have done, To do that they will need to ensure that their people have a fair opportunity to lead a healthy and productive life. The way for us to seek own wellbeing, now requires social justice!
